I don't have time to do a full part 1 post for my Worth Jacket just yet, but I thought I'd slap up a teaser photo of the half of the front I got finished today.

SHINY, isn't it? Already started on the second half of the front and totally screwed it up by making the pocket half an inch higher, and I'm nearly positive I don't have enough fabric left to redo? Trying that is in consideration, though.

I also think that the pockets are a bit too high in general, but there's nothing I can do about it now. LE SIGH. Dear computer, stop making that weird noise.

Wait...hold on. That Snuggie ad just terrified me. I need a second to recover...

WHOA. Ok. So! Found a Burda pattern at Joann yesterday that is, like, PERFECT for my Doc Worth Coat project! I'm super excited about it, and I hope to get going on it this week, since my computer's in for repairs. The pattern is going to take way fewer modifications than the other one I had, so I think it's going to be much, much easier for me. GNEE!! I'll try to do some actual step by step pictures this time. :D

So I decided I'd go ahead and upload some shots of the Emily blouse I made and wore for a costume party. Wee! Femme!Conrad time:

The blouse was SO crazy to make! I actually had to stop and start it over again, because I made it too small the first time around. I sew that collar I don't know...3 times? Something stupid. Probably more like, 4. And don't even get me started on the "easing the sleeves" crap. It was a big headache, but a lot fun in the end. I actually kind of want to make another shirt, a vibrant blue, since I LOVE that color, and don't have any shirts that shade.

FINALLY got some photos of my Adelaide and "We All Float On OK" Hoodie! :D

Ta da!! The Adelaide hoodie's on the left, and "Float On" is on the right there.

All I did to make them was buy a black XL hoodie from the mens department in Walmart, and an XL lime green hoodie from Amazon. For the Adelaide hoodie, I used a dress I already had to determine where to bring in the sides. For the "Float On" one, I just took a few inches from each side. Then I merely switched the sleeves , adapting them to fit into the new arm holes. Used some scraps to sew on to the pocket openings of the Adelaide hoodie, and the string from the green hoodie went into its hood. "Float On" hoodie got a red orange shoelace ordered from Amazon. Wee!!

Sorry there aren't any in progress photos. I told you guys, I'm bad at this blogging thing. I get all into my project and forget to bring along a camera for photos. So, I apologize again.

I'll be posting images of my Emily blouse eventually. I want some more shots of it before I post.
